We had many wonderful adventures this month. Enjoy
the photos. Ian is now learning
sign-language and he is very enthusiastic about it. He is so
excited about his birthday this week. He is counting down the days. I
can't believe our baby will be three years old! It has just flown by.
I can not imagine our lives with out him. He is such a joy. He says the
silliest and cutest things now. He really likes the "Breakfast Jack" at
Jack and The Box. When he orders it he says. "Breakfast Jack, No Ham and
No Chicken!" What a cute little Vegetarian! ;) Silly boy...
In order to go to pre-school in September he had to
be potty trained!!!! What a long
couple of weeks. Mike was gone during most of it!!! While I was knee
deep in it. I thought I was going to DIE!!! (on one day Ian and the stupid
cat had a few accidents!!!!) Of course we had lots of
places to go and could not just stay home and work on it. & now that
it is over. I feel like it was no big deal! :) One
problem we had was that I think we started potty training him too early.
He was using the potty over a year ago. but then the novelty wore off and
it was not easy! Here is what
we did. We made him take off his diaper and put the poo poo in the
potty. Needless to say some would fall on the floor and we made him pick
it up. Yucky -Gross!!!!Well needless to say - he did not like that very
much!!! So in a few days he got tired of that and really started to use the
potty! and then he announced he just needed some privacy! :) I am so happy
that is over with. Yea no more diapers!!!! Where is my beautiful baby!!!
There is a fun big kid here now!!!!
He really
enjoying the little backyard pool we got him. He can't wait to go down to Grandma's and going swimming in
the big pool again. Michael was gone for TEN DAYS in row March! Yes - ten
days!!!!!!! In the thirteen years we have been together we had never been
apart that long!!! We missed him so much. He went to Ohio for work. Which
was no fun. :( (Thou he did get to read many books a see a few movies).
But over the weekend he flew to New York to visit Brian Greenspan.
Greenspan is a great old crazy Cure friend. They had a great time going to
movies, concerts and of course White Castle!!

Monday - My dad's birthday. Aunt Tammy came up and stayed before
school. Mike and Tammy went out to dinner. Tammy was not so crazy about Indian
food! :)
Tuesday - Went to go visit the Pre-School Ian will attend in September.
While I was getting him dressed I started to cry - Where is my baby? how can he
be going to school soon? How can he be almost three? and he said
"Mom don't cry - you are my best friend" - He is such a sweet boy!
Wednesday - Sold my old car! :) YEA!!! $
Thursday - Went up to South Pasadena to visit the Wongs. Ian had a great
time playing with Andrew (11/2000). Amy gave him a early birthday gift.
Friday - The CURE played in the UK today. They played an
amazing set and had two wonderful surprise guests. So cool to be able to
know what is being played the second that they are playing it. What an
amazing time we live in in internet is so amazing. :) - - Drove down
to San Diego. My mom made wonderful enchiladas. yum Yum
Saturday - We went up to Pine Valley to visit my dad. Mike Played Golf with his dad. My mom made her world
famous Tacos for Mike. Tracey and Kevin (KB) came over and we played this
cool new dice game called LCD!!!! I bought a set off of Ebay this week.
I highly recommend buying it. It was a lot of fun! :)

Sunday - We went to the San Diego Zoo.
Monday - Bunco.
Tuesday - Mops.
Wednesday - Went to the Spaghetti Factory with Ian and Angie. Ian
went Poo Poo in the potty for the first time. We called everyone and then
took him to Ice Cream to celebrate! :) I played Bunco with the Mom's Club.
Thursday - Playgroup with Scott and Daniel in Diamond Bar.
Friday - Drove up to Northridge (Granada Hills) to spend the
day with Jason, Kari and baby Audrey. We went and got the kids photos
taken together. & then went to TEA. the best tea ever. Really
- I had "Violet" tea. It was a wonderful place. I hope to go
again.
Saturday - Drove back up to Granada Hills for Audrey's FIRST birthday
party. She was so cute. She loved her big chocolate cake. I went out to dinner (Islands) with Angie and Angie Mickel. Then
went over to the Mickel's to see the new apartment layout and try out some new
cocktails. Then we went to see the Psychedelic Furs in concert.

Sunday - I had tooooo much fun last night. My head hurts today.
Chocolate Martini's are bad! Went to TEA with Jena. The one who introduced me to tea years ago. :) We
had wonderful time just being together. Mike and Ian went to
Disneyland together. Then we went out to dinner and watched the Sopranos.
the best show on TV!
Monday - Ian got a haircut.
Tuesday - Angie, Ian and I went down to San Diego for a few days.
Ian just JUMPED in to the pool. He had not swam since last summer. I
was so nervous. but of Course he did just fine!!!.My mom made her wonderful "Autumn pasta". Cline and Tracey and all of the
kids were over. It was a fun filled house. Ian actually went
swimming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wednesday - St. Patrick's day! :) Left Ian with Grandma Janet. And Angie
and I went to breakfast and went shopping in Hillcrest. Picked up my mom and Ian and
went to the card store!!!
Thursday - Went to Balboa Park and Corvette Diner.
Drove home.....
Friday -
Saturday - We went to dinner with Oren, Gina and Angie Mickel.

Sunday -
Monday -
Tuesday - MOPS. My mom game up to help me work on my yard!!!! We
have CLAY soil! It was not easy!!!
Wednesday - Lots of trips to Garden places!!!
Thursday - Dig and Dig and Dig. Over 38 Plants!!! Roses,
Lavender, Rosemary, Foxglove & Hydrangea
Friday - Went up to Santa Monica to visit Liz. We went
to tea in Santa Monica, then shopped around. Then we went back to her home. I drove to LAX to
pick up Michael who had been gone for TEN DAY!!!!! and I got a TICKET!!!!!!!!
When I got off the freeway the big sign said "Inglewood" and it scared
me!!! So at the light I stopped and quickly kept going!!!!! Well it was no right
on red! and I was so freaked out to be in a bad neighborhood that I just
kept going! Well I immediately saw the police car when I turned right and
thought to my self. what kind of speed trap is this. Well one minute
later. I saw the red lights behind me ! Darn. I was not
happy!! I was scared and nervous even before I got pulled over!!! O well..... My
last ticket was in 1993 - I was going 35 in a 25 mils zone. I got that
ticket in the mail They just took a picture of my plates! So in 10 years
that is not so bad. But I am not very happy about the possibilities of
traffic school again.
Saturday - Ian & Mike went out to run errands and I set up the NEW pool
for Ian. We told Ian we had a surprise for him. Mike asked him what
he thought it might be. and he said "A new couch" ? He was so excited and surprised. He had so much fun!!!...
After his nap we went to the Cheesecake Factory!

Sunday - Shopped around.
Monday - Ian swam and swam. Tristan came over and they swam and swam
even when it was really cold at night!
Tuesday - Went shopping with Angie. To our new favorite store 'Homegoods'
and then to 'Bombay KIDS', to look for a new big boy bed
for Ian! He was been sleeping with us since around Christmas! He needs a new
bed!!!!
Wednesday -Went out to dinner with David, Lisa and Tristan. We
took the kids to a Irish Pub!!!!!!! They boys have a great time together.
