What a difference a month makes - He knows every single letter, all of his numbers and all of his colors. You can start in the middle of the alphabet and he will just keep going. He even plays around with a 6 or 9 and flips it upside down and says 6 9 - 9 6 . He has these foam numbers and letters - he can even put them in order. He is so darn Smart - He uses the big potty every day now. :) Hopefully he will be out of diapers by the time he is 2 1/2. :) Are you ready for this - you might want to sit down!!! Ian is now bilingual - He knows all of his colors in Spanish and he can count to ten in Spanish. He also knows a few other words in Spanish, ball, dog, and daddy, ect... He is amazing. When you drive down the street he yells out red means stop - green go go .... :) Mike was in the car with Ian the other day at a stop light and he started spelling out. B.o.r.d.e.r.s. and Mike thought - huh - I guess we are near Borders. :) He was only 21 months in January.. :) Well this month was my birthday and our five year wedding anniversary. It was fun to look back and remember what a fun day that was. :) - *** Also I would love an email update from you with or without pictures. I work really hard on this update every month - it takes me hours and hours!! . That is why it is late Feb. and I am just now getting out January. Enjoy. Here is what we did last month!!! ----------- Jan. 1- Poor Mike - had to work half of the day Jan 2 - Mike went to see "Gangs of New York" Jan 3 - Really REALLY CUTE Pics of Ian and Michael (# ) Jan 4 - Went to Murrieta to visit Grandma Mary. We had so much fun. Ian was a good boy. Jan 5 - Mike went to a Clipper Basketball game with Alan - After the game Alan came over and we watched our Wedding Video - It was so much fun to see it again. :) Jan 6 - we had NO POWER!!!! ALL DAY!!!!!! - It was so awful. Jan 8 - DISNEYLAND - it rained and rained!!!!!! We meet my mom there with my two nieces and two nephews. :) - It was so strange to be at Disneyland in the rain. :). Jan 13 - Bunco night. Jan 17 - My computer died - I was so so so so so upset - I made the computer guy from Mike's work come over to the house on a FRIDAY night. Shame on me - I am way too addicted to my computer. :) Jan 18 - Jason, Kari and Donna (Kari's mom) - came up and we went shopping for all of the food for the shower. Mike and Jason went to a Clipper game. January 19th - Kari's BABY SHOWER - It went so well. Kari got some great things. So many cute little pink dresses. :) So many fun party games. Ian had such a great time with the shower balloons - the Golden Globes were on. Unfortunately Daniel-Day-Lewis did not win - He really does deserve to win the Oscar. January 21 - Went to the mall to get Ian's Valentine's Day Picture's taken. :) He is so cute - Went out to dinner with the Robidoux's. January 22 - Playgroup at our house - Then we went out to Dinner with Lisa, David & Tristan. January 24- My birthday!!!!! - Went to JC Penney to get my picture taken with my boy for my birthday. Gina told me she was going to take me to a new tea place for my birthday. Got to Gina's and Ian was asleep and I called Gina and said - come out side Ian was asleep _ I just wanted her to come out side - I was a little upset - How could she not understand that you do not wake a sleeping baby!!!! Well I had Jena watch Ian in the car and walked over to Gina's - SHE MADE ME TEA. I has so thrilled! She is the sweetest girlfriend ever! I am so lucky!! It was so awesome. My favorite tea, great sandwiches, quiche (which Ian loved), chocolate covered strawberries, scones, great salad. and then she bought me great gifts. I am such a lucky girl. Then we drove down to SD and had one of my favorite dinners at my moms - she also made me a beautiful purple angel food cake. January 25 - Went to visit Mike's dad and Grandmother. Meet my dad for Breakfast. Jack Longfellow's first birthday party at the Gymboree. It was so so much fun.. Ian loved it - he loved the bubbles and the cute little cupcakes in a ice cream cone. - My mom watch Ian and we went out to dinner with Scott and Simone. January 26 - MIKE WENT TO THE SUPERBOWL!!!!! - He had a wonderful experience, he was not to happy with the outcome. I went to the card store and to visit my grandparents. Then over to Angie's for a little birthday cake and gifts. ;) Jan 28 Watched Tristan - They had such a great time playing together. - Went the late movie with Jena We saw "The Hours". Jan 29 - Playgroup Jan 30 Jena and her boys came over. Ian and Grantland get a long so well. :) January 31 - Our FIVE year wedding anniversary!!! - Meet Mike at his work and then went to the Block in Orange to Wolfgang Pucks. love Autumn, Michael and Ian
