Hello - Family & Friends,
FEBRUARY - 2003 -
Ian uses the potty more then half of the time now. He is so big! He just
loves numbers and letters. A little more then he should. He has such a
great time with his little foam letters - he loves to play with them with
Aunt Angie Mickel. The other day my dad handed him a piece of cheese and he said
"Rectangle" - now how many kids would see the shape and not just eat the
cheese! Can you tell that we are so very proud of him. :) Less then a
hundred pictures this month - am I slacking off? - Well yes - Next month
well be even less- Shame on me!!!
Here is what we did last
month!!!
Feb 1 - We went to Mary's for Dustin's birthday party.
Feb. 2 - (Sunday) Poor Michael had to work.
Feb. 4 - We went to the park with the
MOM's
club. That night we watched Tristan! - Went to the movie's with Jena at
10pm - we saw "Catch Me if you Can"
Feb. 5 - Ian was Sick -
Feb. 6 - We got a new fence in the backyard on the right side.
Feb. 7 - Met Gina for early birthday breakfast at Ruby's - I had computer
issues again
Feb. 8 - GINA's 30th
BIRTHDAY!!!! - We went to her house for drinks and to open a few gifts.
Then we went to Memphis for dinner and then to the Durty Nelly - Irish
Pub for a little Karaoke.; - then back to Gina's to open gifts. :) - It
was a great night!!! - Grandma Mary came up and watched Ian.
Feb. 9 - 22 months old today!!!!
Feb. 10 - Bunco at our house - We had a extra spot so my mom came up!
:) - It was so so much fun!
Feb 11- Since my mom stayed the night she watched Ian and I went to MOPS -
Which was great because Ian does not do very well there.
Feb 12 - Meet Angie at Costco...
Feb 13 - Went to visit Gina and to do a little shopping.
Feb 14 - We had been having a million ants so we had a pest control
company over and Mike was not home yet so we had to stay in the garage for
an hour - yucky - then we went to Grandpa Mary's in Murrieta and stayed the night.
Feb 15 -Ian was outside with Mary and Mike - Mike went to put him down and
his legs just collapsed under him - He could not stand up. It was so
scary it lasted about 5 minutes - (it happened again 3/16/03 - but it was
much worse - we are scared- we went to the doctor on Monday!!! - We are
going to go see a Neurologist ) Mike brought him to me and I could not
get him to stand up on Monday when it happens his head sort of went to his
left also and he was really trying to stand up - he was pulling up on his
toy car - so so so so so scary - He even seemed scared.
Feb 16 - I got a haircut! Can you tell! :) - then Angie and I headed up
to Hollywood to go dancing - we went to a 80's club - Before we met up
with Liz for dinner. - We had a great time!! - I felt like I has 18
again. :) We bought a new TV for Ian to have in the other room - It has
made our life so much easier. Poor Mike never got to watch TV when he got
home before. :) -
Feb 17 - (Monday) Mike had the day off!! - We went to a little playgroup
at Janelle's - then we went and got Ian's 2nd haircut.
Feb 18 - Cathy and Anna came over for a little
playdate.
Anna is just a few days older then Ian - They had a great time - Ian
colored on the wall!!! - I almost KILLED him!!! You have to see the photo
- it was right after I spanked the heck out of him!!! Now if you ask him
"Where you color" - he says "On Paper" We got so lucky 99% of our house
is wallpapered - Thank God it all came off!!
Feb 19 - Playgroup.
Feb 21 - Playgroup with the Moms Club of Placentia - At
Teresa's.
:) - Mike Played Golf, he drove down to SD
Feb 22 - Mike played Golf with his dad. We went to go visit Nana and
Papaw - :) - then we drove up to Pine Valley for dinner at my dad's
Feb 23 - We had brunch at Rubens. Then we went to visit Mike's Nan and
then Grandma Gallo's, Aunt Peggy and Uncle Roy and Ian's second Cousin
Trent (15 months old) was there (he is the child of Mike's cousin Tara) -
they had so much fun playing together :)
Feb 24 - Went shopping and to lunch with Aunt Gina.
Feb 25 - Went to the movie at 10pm with Jena - we saw "Chicago"
Feb 26 - Playgroup at our house
Feb 27 - Went to Mary's and stayed the night- It was Grandma Mary's
birthday.
Feb 28 - Went to the DMV to get my license renewed. I did something
really bad and told a little white lie when I got there - I told them I
had a appointment - I was out of there in less then 15 minutes - so the
moral of the story is make an appointment - Mike played Golf with Uncle
Roy. I tried to put Ian down for a nap at Mary's - it was taking over an
hour - well he said Poo
poo
potty - I thought he was pulling my leg - just trying to stall taking a
nap - then I thought to myself - "If he is still in diapers at 4 - I will
blame myself for this moment! " -Well I put him in the potty and well -
he did!!!!!! I almost died - I was so so so excited! He is such a big
boy!!!! -
