Ian turned FOUR this month. My little baby is gone!  I can not believe how much has happened in just four short years!  It was fun to look at the old photos from April 02, 02 & 03 and read my updates and relive some of those great memories.  Ian really enjoyed looking at them with me and hearing about himself. :) It made me feel really good about working on this. ..

 He bought a helium tank with his birthday money from Grandma Mary!  Every child who came over got a balloon this month.  He has grown into such an amazing boy.  Ian had one of the best days of his little life.  He got to meet his idol BILL NYE "The Science Guy"!!!  and the same day we see a show!  We go to the Library every ten-days to get different videos. We have seen almost every Bill Nye video!!! 

My garden is looking amazing!  I never knew I could  love SPRING so much. All of the hard work really has paid off.  It is wonderful to spend time in the garden with Ian he has been the best little helper I could not have done it without him.  When he is not helping he is working on experiments in the yard.  He can make a big mess!!

4/1/05 - 4/5/05
Friday-  Cousin Sam is up for a few days.  Tristan and Lisa came over for lunch and backyard fun.
Saturday - Tracey came up to get Sam.  We went to the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana. The boys had a lot of fun there.  That night we went to MAGGIANOS for dinner.  Maggianos is the BEST RESTAURANT on EARTH!  Mike loves it!!!

4/3/05 - 4/9/05
Sunday- 
Monday-Brea Kiddie Gym in Community Center .  Ian had such a great time.
Tuesday -  Pre-School / MOPS
Wednesday -Playgroup @ Teresa's!
Thursday- Pre-School  - Mike went to the Basketball game in LA.
Friday-  I was so so sick.  I had my first and hopefully last Sinus Infection!  YUCKY!  I had never felt so bad.  I had Mike take me to the Doctor.  Who every invented antibiotics deserves a million trillion dollars!!!
Saturday - HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY IAN MICHAEL!!!  We took Ian to JC Penney to get his 4th Birthday portrait taken.  Then off to DISNEYLAND!!!  Because it was his birthday they gave us a Quick Pass on to a 70 minute ride.  We went through the wheelchair spot for Peter Pan!!! We felt so special.  We had a nice family day at Disneyland then we went to The Spaghetti Factory!!! I had a ZOOM ice cream cake made for him & we bought him  a Zoom T-shirt.  Zoom is his favorite TV program - It is a fantastic kids show. = ZOOM  kids show.  We got him many fun Science toys.  Aunt Kari sent him test tubes, little testers, Petri's dishes & a real notebook all from Stanford. How lucky is he to have a real scientist for a Aunt!!! He was so excited. He had a wonderful birthday.  

4/10/05 - 4/16/05
Sunday -  I was so exhausted after being sick on meds and a big birthday.  I took a long napper.   Ian learned to balance a spoon on his nose.  PHOTOS of course. 
Monday- BUNCO.
Tuesday -  Pre-School . Ian had his four year old check up.  Went shopping and then out to dinner with Aunt Gina.
Wednesday - Set up the Slip-N-Slide and Jena and her boys  (Grant 10 & Liam 5) came over. They played, swam and had snow cones. It was a fun afternoon..
Thursday- Pre-School .  I helped out at pre-school today with the vision tests.  I could not believe how gross some kids are.  Especially the girls! Their nails were covered with chipped nail polish and they kept putting their hair in their mouths!  yucky... I needed a shower after that.  Kids are pukes.
Friday-   We went to a Garden Show at Crystal Court with Jena and her boys.  It was a lot of fun. 
Saturday - Mike was gone for a few days..  We drove down to SD.  Stayed with my mom on Saturday.

4/17/05 - 4/23/05
Sunday- Ian and I stayed at my dads in Pine Valley. Ian helped my dad install a outdoor light.  The photos were so cute. :) He is wearing his safety glasses and a Home Depot apron.
Monday-Drove home.
Tuesday -  Pre-School / MOPS.
Wednesday - Playgroup at our house. :) I was sent the promo CDs for the Cure re-releases!  I was so excited.  It was wonderful to get them a bit early and for free! I felt so special. The next day I sent him flowers!
Thursday- Parent Teacher conference @ Pre-School.  Ian's LAB COATS arrived.  I bought him two on Ebay with his name embroidered on them.  He wears them almost everyday.  ;) He is so simple and sweet.  Will he grow up to be a scientist?
Friday- 
Saturday - Spa Day with Jena and the girls. :) We went to Burke Williams. I had a facial and we all had lunch together.  It was a great afternoon.    IAn and daddy made a Volcano together.  you know there were photos! :)

4/24/05 - 4/30/05
Sunday-  Maybe the BEST day of his LIFE!!! We drove up to Pasadena to see BILL NYE at 2pm!  YES BILL NYE in person!  He was having a lecture. When Bill Nye walked by Ian almost passed out. After his lecture we were on the first ones to meet-n-greet him.  He got to talk to him, he signed his book and he got to get a few photos with him.  

Then we drove to Long Beach to see BLUES CLUES LIVE.  One of his Pre-school friends Carson was also there. He is not really as into Blues Clues anymore.  I bought the tickets back in October 2004.  Talk about a fun and exhausting day.  He must think his mom can get him anything. I mean BILL NYE that is his ultimate. :)
Monday-
Tuesday -  Pre-School
Wednesday -Playgroup at our house.
Thursday- Pre-School - Gina, Mike and I went to see BAUHAUS in a very tiny tiny club.  Joe Dupre for Northern Ca was also there I almost freaked with I saw him there.  :) It was a fun night.  Ian stayed with Tristan.
Friday- 
Saturday -   Took my dad to the docks - they went on a cruise! ;)
