So much has changed with Ian in the last month.  He knows his whole Alphabet - I am serious - he can point out ever single letter. He can say all of them except M.    He can now sing almost the entire ABC song.  It is so cute.  He can count now, 1,2,3,?,5,6,7,8,?,10,?? & 12!!! He is only 21 months!! We got stopped yesterday and the day before while shopping, someone over heard us talking. He was singing the ABC's  - she asked how old he was.  She could not believe he was so young!  I know I am his mom - but he is just so darn smart.  I am so darn proud of him.  Not only is he so smart he is also so cute...... - He is also using the potty almost everyday!!!  

December was a hard month - We are still trying to cope with the death of Michael's step-father.  It was a very hard holiday.  We just had a very hard time getting into the holiday spirit, we did not even get a tree.

Here is what we did last month!!!

Dec 1-4, 2002 Mike stayed down with his mom. - We had tickets to go to Soft Cell - but Mike was not home -  so we were not able to go.
Pictures (1-6) were our Family Holiday pictures.  

We just stayed home - we did not feel like going to MOPS and leaving the house much

Dec-4, 2002 - Playgroup at our house. Drove down to SD

Dec 5, 2002 - the Funeral of Michael's Step-Father Bob Woolsey -   :(

Dec 6-7, 2002 Stayed down in SD - Had lunch with my dad - went to Rubio's Ian had his first toy from a fast food place. :)   - went to my grandparents house.

Dec 9, 2002 - Bunco and Tracy Crawford's house.  She had a great little Bunco/Christmas party. Ian potted in the potty for Michael.

Dec 13, 2002 Went to the Spaghetti Factory.

Dec 17, 2002 - the last day of MOPS for the year.

Dec 19, 2002 - My mom and niece Jade came up.  My mom took Ian home.  Mike's holiday Christmas party at Disneyland. @ Club 33.  It was very cool.

Dec 20, 2002 - after five years the best actor in the world DANIEL DAY-LEWIS is back on the big screen in "Gangs of New York"..  Go see it-  it is wonderful and his acting is just superb.  He will no doubt be nominated for an Oscar. (March 23).

Dec 21, 2002 - Ian got his FIRST HAIRCUT!!! I cried!!! He just seemed a little annoyed with the hairdresser. Then we went home and got dressed and went to the JC Penney and had our Friends Holiday Picture taken.  With a new addition.  Louie.  - Gina's boyfriend.
 Then came home and had a great FONDUE party.  Liz and Brett were also there except the only eat raw food - so she had a salad and he had a apple!  Man did they miss out!!! We also had traditional UK party crackers -  they  were fun.   Then we opened gifts!! Aunt Gina got Ian a Drum Set!!!!!! Of course he just loved it....

Dec 23, 2002 - Spent TWO hours in line for Santa!!!!!!!   & of course he was not happy when he got up there!! O well....  ) You have to check out the photo it is so funny!!!  Then he spent two and a half hours in the car on the way to SD....- Needless to say Ian had a rough day.  - Spend Christmas with our friends at Joe & Kristy's - Had a great time. It is so funny to see all of our kids play together.   Christmas with Jason and Kari at Mike's Grandmother's - Ian was so cute.  Amazingly after such a long day  he was a good boy!

Dec 24, 2002 - Went up to Pine Valley for Christmas Eve.  Went to church Ian was dancing in the isle and saying very loudly "SQUARE"- he was commenting on the floor tiles.  He also kept reading the letters on the back on the chairs. So cute.....

Dec 25, 2002 - Christmas morning in Pine Valley, then down to SD for Christmas at Mike's grandmothers - Mike's cousin Ginger from Colorado was there.  She made great BLUE cookies that Ian could not get enough off. :).  Then to my moms  - there were 27 people there!!! It was a full house  - We had a nice holiday.

Dec 26, 2002 - Mike went to the movies with the boys - he saw "Catch Me If You Can" - Just hung out with my mom and Tracey.  

Dec 27 , 2002- Mike played Golf with Jason and his father. - Played Guesstures at my moms.  Mike did not have a good time.  

Dec 28, 2002 - Went to Point Loma Seafood on the way home.

Dec 31, 2002 - Tried to go to the Phoenix Club for a German meal- but they were closed - So we went to dinner at the Durty Nelly pub- Then we went to Gina's and played a great new Movie game that Angie gave Gina.  Louie won - he was awesome.  We drove home around 11pm and we were asleep about half after 12.
