What a month to be thankful for - - My Step-Father John - Broke his
NECK!!!!! He is doing so well! Watering the plants - Doing Dishes!! Just
amazing! Wait
until you see the photos! You won't believe that he is alive. He
has FOUR screws - screwed into his skull!!! He has nine lives for sure. He
has been shot in the head once, shot with a nail gun below the belt (You
know where I mean!!!) Amazing! We are so thankful...

About Ian Michael - November 2001 -
He loves to stand up! He can pull himself up to the coffee table. He walks
without being assisted with his walker. He cruises around the furniture. He
is crawling so fast - if you turn your head for a second he is out of the
room!. He has grown some more hair. Blond/red/light brown.! Who
knows! :) He gets so excited about things now. I am starting to try and
teach him baby sign language He is SOOOO much happier then he used to be!
THANK GOD!!! Ian is now only taking a bath in the big bathtub. Where did
my baby go????? He likes to read books now, he is also now turning the
pages of books while I read to him! He is so much fun. He is so good when
we go out to dinner. He uses a straw all of the time now! He prefers it
to a sippy cup. He is starting to enjoy food more. :) He actually slept
throughout the night almost ALL of last week. :) He is perfect! Except he
keeps getting bigger. Where did my little infant go? I miss him already. I
have been reading "Vegetarian" - Ok Ok - Chicken Soup for the Mothers Soul
Book (Thanks Kari) - I read one or two stories every night before going to
sleep - it has really makes me feel better about Ian. Esp if we had a
frustrating 7 fussy day. I end up crying almost every other night! :) Boy
and I lucky! I love him so so so so much! Can you tell!!!! :)
He is in the new car seat now! What a big boy! Boy is it hard to do errands
without the infant car seat. It sure made it a lot easier. Now it is such
a pain to get him in and out of the car. At least we have this awesome
grocery seat - :) My mom bought Ian this AWESOME grocery cart seat! It keeps
that baby from touching any of the NASTY grocery carts. EVERYONE needs one

Nov. 1 - Mom's group - My Dad Stayed the night! :)
Nov. 2. Dentist Apt. YUCKY! Crown!! :( Lunch with Lisa and Tristan
Robidoux - Later my dad came back by to play with the boy!
Nov. 4. Bob & Mary came over and brought over a HUGE STUFFED horse!!!
Among other things - you would think that she is trying to spoil him.... We
went out to brunch!
Nov. 6th - Went up to Pasadena to for Andrew Wong's FIRST birthday party!Andrew just started walking over the weekend. It was so awesome to
see some of his first steps! :) Amy did a wonderful job with the party. I
was so worried that Ian being the youngest (not even 7 months) would not
have any fun or be able to catch up to the other kids. BOY WAS I
WRONG!!! Ian beat up on one of the kids there - I though it was SO funny! the mother of the child did not! :( - -
After the party we went to see Monique Hahn - we walked around Pasadena.
Nov. 7 - Elizabeth Everett came down and played with us! We
went to the Spaghetti Factory and went antique shopping in Fullerton.
It is so much harder antique shopping with the boy! Most places to not
allow strollers. My arms were so tired..
Nov. 8 - At baby class we took semiprofessional photos we are going
to have them blown up and then color them next week
Nov. 9. - 7 months old today!!! I am so crazy! I has his picture
taken at JC Penney and at Wal-Mart! :)
Nov. 10 - All three of us went down to SD for Kelly Longfellow's BABY
Shower!!! After the shower Mike had to go to a Race car event -I went
out to dinner Islands with Gina and Angie
Nov. 11. - Mike went to Texas, Missouri and Kansas for work until
Wednesday. :( So Ian and I went to TEA with Aunt Angie
Nov. 12 - 14 - Off to San Diego. We saw my Grandparent's and Jade, my
father, Mike's Grandma Gallo and Mike's B. Grandparents. On the way
home from SD Ian and I went to see Mike's Mom in Murrieta.
Nov. 15 - What a day went to the park with our play group friends - then
down to the doctor for a shot! :-( - John got into the car accident today
:( Later that night I went out - without the boy!!!! - Angie and I
went to Hollywood to see Liz's band Aurora play. - While I was
there we went to a bar that had a B rating! :-P - GROSS!!! I had to take a
picture. We had a wonderful time at Liz's first show in LA! :) Can't wait
until her next show!
Nov. 18 - We had breakfast with the Robidoux's - Tristan LOVED the
digital camera - he liked to see the picture's right after we took them. :)
Nov. 20 Went to see Jena and the boys and also saw Gina Grissom.
Nov. 22 - Down to SD for Thanksgiving - first stop Michael's grandmother
Gallo's Next Mike's Father's - then off to my mom's
for Dinner
Nov. 23 - Over to Mike's Grandparents - Then up to Gina and Ronnie's
for a family and friends Thanksgiving dinner.
Nov. 24 - We went to breakfast with Genny (My little cousin) and her
boyfriend Jim. We went to the Hash House A Go Go in Hillcrest. YUMMMMY!!!!! then off to a co-ed baby shower for Nate and Kelly
Longfellow then we went to dinner at Maggianos with Jason and
Kari - the best restaurant ever!!!!!
Nov. 26 - I took Ian to Olin Mills to get a Christmas photo taken. It was so
so cute! He is in red and green flannel PJ's - I can not wait to get them
back. :)
Nov. 27 - We went to JC Penney and had family Christmas photos taken. :)
Nov. 29 - Mike's little cousin Tara had a baby boy today!!! :) Trent David
- 4.13lbs. He was a month early - Mother and Child are doing really well!!!
He is so cute! We can not wait to meet him- Gina came over and played with
Ian -
The last few pictures are of the new construction/wallpaper at
our house. We had so much done to the house since we found out Ian was on
the way. New carpet, hardwood, windows, chair rail, new kitchen counter and
sink, crown moldings, paint & wallpaper. It only took us 3 years to get all
of this done. Notice that we did not even attempt to do the spare room and
the bathrooms at this time! I am so thankful that it is all done. We are
almost done choosing all of the photos for ALL of the picture frames! :)
What a long process. Having construction done at your house really bites!
:) A baby really makes you get things done!!! :) Sorry for the mess - Mike
said I should have cleaned up! O well! :)
