What a FUN month!!! Ian is so cute and fun- he has been doing all sorts of baby tricks.  He sits up so well now.  He has such a far reach - he rarely ever falls. :) He is starting to babble now - He loves to stand up. He is going to just stand up on his own very soon.  I do not think he will crawl. He is also rolling over now. He drinks from a sippy cup on his own  - No teeth yet.  I will start him on solids the middle of next month. :(   We have his 6 month check up on the 11th. I am not looking forward to that: ( Messy! -  I love being the only source of his growth.

We FINALLY got he house done.  The kitchen wall paper was finished last week.  I have a TEACUP border now :) So the whole house has been done except for the bathrooms. :)  It looks really good - now the real work is left - I need to put back up the picture frames!!!!  Our house is such a mess. It is driving my crazy!!! I also need to put away all of these pictures in photo albums.:)

I went to the gym twice this month.  I went to a yoga class last Tuesday. :) It felt really good. I need to get out of the house more. - - So sorry to everyone who has not gotten a card from me the last few months.  So unlike me -  I have been too busy taking pictures.  Seriously sorry - a baby is so much more time consuming then I ever thought.  -  I have also been losing my hair.  :(  It is normal after having a baby.  but it is really gross since my hair is so long.  It is all over the house!!! When this happened to my mom she cut all of her hair off.  I do not think I could do that! :)
 

We are doing really well - just living in a pigpen! Lost of trips to SD. We have a very busy month ahead - Mike is moving to a new building this week.  It will be a very stressful month.

September 1 - Ian and I went to Santa Monica with Angie - We went to TEA @ the Kings Head PUB - Ian's first time in a PUB.  We shopped all around!  It was very fun!

Sept 2 - HANNAH Ashley. Van Hyfte was born!!! :) 7.12. :) What a great day! :)  They might get married someday.

Sept. 3 - (Labor Day) Mike was off - Went to Indian Brunch with Angie

Sept 7 - We went down to San Diego to have dinner with Nate and Kelly Longfellow - they are expecting a Boy named JACK in late January 2002!!! We are so excited that they are having a boy.  Boys are so much fun.

Sept. 8 - went up to Pine Valley - My fathers parents were out from Arizona - and they had never met the boy!

Sept 9 - 5 MONTH BIRTHDAY!!! - 18 lbs - 26 1/4 inchees

 Ian read and ate the morning newspaper.  His face was so dirty! He rode in a little red car (so cute)
Off to JC Penney to take his 5 month photos. ALL 6 turned out great.  It was so hard to choose!  So I spent over $60!!!! I Need help! Like I do not take enough pictures.

Then off to Grandma &Grandpa's  house - then over to GG & GG and then on the way home we stopped by the Van Hyfte's to meet Hannah! :)  I can't believe Ian was ever that small.  It really feels like a million years ago.. 

Sept - 10 - Aunt Gina come over for a little visit.

Sept 11. :(

Sept 12 -  we went to Michael's office and had lunch with him.

Sept 13. We started going to a little mommy and me class on Thursday's.  It is held at the local Hospital.  Very fun!  Ian is one of the oldest and by far the cutest and smartest! - They also started to work on the kitchen today - We got new countertops and a new sink.

Sept. 15 - Mike played Golf.

Sept. 16 - Lunch with Angie

Sept 17 - Ian and I went to Pine Valley again- Jason, Dawn and Carinne were in town. {Jason is Susan (my fathers wife - Susan's son}. :)  So my step-brother.:)  So  - Ian got to meet another little cousin. :)  She just turned 2! :) She is so cute! 

Sept 18 - Ian and I went over to GG Gallo's for a little visit.

Sept. 19 - Amy and Andrew Wong came over and then we went to TEA in Brea.  Amy brought over the new blue Tangi ball from Discovery Toys - this is a great toy! :)

Sept. 20 - We went to the mommy & me class.  the teacher could not believe that Ian was only 5 months old.  She could not believe that he sat up so well for only being 5 months old. :) We ran into Mark Krantz, Skip & Phil Reed  (from Avery) at In & Out! Grilled Cheese = YUMMY! - I went to the GYM that night.!!!! I rode the bike for 3.5 miles and the treadmill for 1.5 miles.  I was a sore girl the next day.

Sept. 22 - We stayed the night @ Michael's moms new house in Murrieta  - She bought Ian a TON of new clothes and toys. Grandma's are the best! (112-114)

Sept. 23 - HE ROLLED OVER!!!!! What a exciting day! I almost passed out - he looked at us like WHAT was the big deal!

Sept. 26 - We went over to visit Lisa & Tristan - Ian also shares his birthday with Tristan (2).  - I also found his Halloween costume!  A MONKEY!!! I bought it at the GAP!  It is so darn CUTE!!! I almost passed out when I saw it.- I took a few pictures of him trying it on.

Sept 28 - AUNT ANGIE's big 30th Birthday!!! So I put Ian in her favorite outfit - the cute sailor outfit! :)  Angie got off early and we went down to San Diego- We went to Hillcrest and shopped and shopped.  Then we went to my mom's! She mad a great dinner. Aunt Tracey and cousin Sammy also came over.  Ian had a great time in the bath tub at mom's. Check out the splashes

Sept. 29 - Ian modeled around in his new cute outfit  - Seriously we took over 40 pictures of him today.  -  We went to Emma Longfellow's FIRST birthday party ....Time has sure flown by.

Sept - 30 - he is babbling now.  He said ma-ma about 5 times yesterday. :)

Mike went up to visit Jason & Kari over the weekend. He got to see the new house in Palo Alto.   Mike got to do a TON of FUN things over the weekend.  First he went to the Baseball game (SF/SD).  On Saturday he played golf.  He shot a 93! and beat Jason!!!  He has been taking lessons once a week and they have really made a difference! :)  Then he went to SF for a really cool birthday party for Joe Dupre - a ton of friends were there (I wish I was there) . Then on Sunday he went to the Raider game (thanks Paul) .  So Mike had a fun SPORTS weekend.....
